The product is a high-range fiber bragg grating strain sensor (FBG strain gauge) used for strain measurement. It is a single-ended structure that can be inserted into the test object for strain measurement, fixed using fixtures, or adhered with adhesive tape for strain measurement. The maximum range is approximately 25000 to 30000 microstrains (30000με).

Product Overview:

The OFSCN® high-range fiber Bragg grating strain sensor (30000 microstrain FBG strain gauge) consists of a fiber connector (FC, SC, LC, ST, etc.), high-strength material, and a single-point fiber bragg grating (FBG) encapsulated within. Depending on the materials used, it can operate at room temperature or a maximum of 350 degrees Celsius (the strain range may slightly decrease at high temperatures and needs customization).

This product features a compact size, lightweight, high tensile and compressive strength, water and moisture resistance, and full sealing. By utilizing the strain characteristics of the fiber bragg grating (FBG), this sensor can be inserted, welded, adhered, or glued to the internal or surface of the test structure for strain detection and monitoring.

It can be widely used in various industries such as industrial equipment, metal, cranes, concrete, railways, military equipment, aerospace, etc., for single-point or multi-point quasi-distributed strain monitoring and measurement.
